Episode 108 Whoops!  What did I just do?

What’s been going on?

Two weeks since the last podcast!

I have been listening to audiobooks from audible.com.  I listened to  The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.  I am going to listen the second book in the series Catching Fire (Hunger Games book 2).  If you are listening to these as well, please drop me a line.

Books I am thinking about listening to...  Eragon, Under the Dome, 11-22-63, Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, or Oath of Office.  If you have heard or read any of these - let me know what you recommend.

Recommended Reading:  Intimacy & Desire:  Awaken the Passion in Your Relationship by David Schnarch and Passionate Marriage: Keeping Love and Intimacy Alive in Committed Relationships by David Schnarch.

Thinking?

The Big Texan and I have been working on our marriage and the books by David Schnarch have been extremely beneficial.  It changes your focus and makes you realize about what life can be after the honeymoon.

Lent is going on and I have given up processed foods, so I have been trying to make my diet as delicious as possible without processed foods.  It is pretty easy when you use fresh ingredients.

Knitting?

Finished the Felted Clogs (Fibertrends pattern).

I haven’t picked up anything in particular... I am still working on the Kirra Jacket.  I am also working on a pair of worsted weight socks (for my mindless knitting).  I love shawls and I want to cast on another one!!!

COC (Cleaning out Cobwebs)

February focus was the Master Knitter Program.  But I haven’t been doing it!  I realized that I had swapped it with the HOUSE (which was my June focus).   I guess after working on myself for a month, I needed to focus on my surroundings.  I have been keeping up with my housecleaning and decluttering chores.  (Flylady is a blessing!)  So I am revamping my focus schedule to fit what has actually been happening.

Tip/Technique

Finish your project immediately.  If it is a felted project, felt it right away.  Don’t wait!  Felting is easy.  It only takes 15 minutes to do, by not waiting the project becomes something that you can use.
